ciao a tutti!
i live near boston, but spend a third of the year in italy (im half american, half italian). i started climbing over the summer, and was wondering if there were any places to climb near bologna (emilia romagna area). im leaving for my dads 2night, and i dont want to go for three weeks without climbing! is it too cold in the alps (near sestrier or cortina) in the winter to climb? any suggestions would be awesome,
elena

Try Finale, biiig rockclimbing mekka just along the coast from Genua. We northerners come climbing there over winter as the temperatures are just about perfect.
