I broke my wrist yesterday. What can I do besides run and abs to stay in shape?

How long are you going to be out ? How old are you ? Best option might be to do nothing and rest. Or yoga.

Yoga as mentioned above, would be good along with workouts that strengthen your core. Also, find a slab outdoors or in the gym that you can work on climbing without hands to improve your foot work.

Frankly, running is probably not the best, too much jarring, especially in the early stages. Trust me here, you want to avoid a non-union fracture. 1) Rest and let the bones knit up. 2) Face the reality that you are out 6 weeks. 3) Remember your frustration, and don't break your wrist next time.
