Some friends of mine had their entire pack of gear stolen around November 7th. It was last seen in a Gregory pack on the east face of Trachcan Rock at the base of Butterfly Crack. Anyone local know of any suspicious activities?

I live here. Could you be more specific. Did they leave it behind? Were they up on top setting up an anchor and someone walked away with it???
I can check with the West Entrance and the park service to see if it was turned in. What color etc.

‎26 cams, 21 quickdraws, 6 slings, 30+ carabiners, 2 pr shoes, 1 helmet camera w accessories, 1 backpack, 4 water bottles
All gear was marked with yellow electrical tape. This is all I was told. They have filed a report with police and are now hanging in the area waiting to see what will happen. I am just trying to get the word out to any locals. I really cannot understand why another climber would do such a thing.

Where are they staying???? Theft happens sometimes out here, but not that often.

They were living out of their van and since the theft they are staying with family in Upland

me and my wife also. both harnesses and a double rack of bd's and small aliens, two sets of micr nuts, daisies, lockers, belay devices the whole shebang. happned in douglas WY, if anyone finds it let me know. thanks
