I think Metolius has a brochure that they put out that talks about programs for campus boards, hangboards, and their rock-rings.

the fence around my apartment building was getting replaced, I grabbed a couple pieces of wood from the dumpster and made my own hangboard. It hangs over a slightly open door and works great. good thing we have steel door frames I made it so that I can add odd shaped pieces of wood as pinches to improve different grip strength. It isn't as good as a "real" moulded hangboard, but for free it is well worth it.

but the thing with a hangboard is no matter how hard you try .. the things are as boring as studying for exams.

dude heres the way it work go to any hold company and ask them for there training info for there hang boards pusher, cheep holds, metolius, franklen, or how to climb 5.12 it doesnt matter. the info is somewhat basic, but get as many resources as you can. its all good as long as you stay far away from NICROS they suck there board isn't even symmetrical so i wouldnt put much faith in them. more power to you and get strong
