I have to go to Missoula for a couple days between Feb 11 -20th. I'm hoping to sneak out to do some climbing. Look to boulder - or sport/trad if I can find a partner ;)

What are my options in the Missoula area? What are conditions like that time of year?

We are having winter mid Feb. Not to say that something around is not climbable, but not a real likelyhood. Good luck finding something doable, and there should be a ton of people willing to try in town. I am 100 miles north, and will be in the same boat.

In mid February there aren't many options in western Montana. What I would recommend would be finding someone to ice climb with or who would take you up Blodgett Canyon. The wall can get warm in the winter
