I write about travel and today I have an article about a beginning rock climbing experience in Joshua Tree if you're interested.

Has anyone else been rock climbing in Joshua Tree?

Is that Don Reid in the bouldering photo?

The one in the bouldering photo was our instructor for the class. I don't remember his name. Again, we are definitely beginners in rock climbing, although we really did enjoy the experience. There were a fair amount of people climbing that day, so I figured a few on here may have some experience there.

Looks like Don. He was an early instructor of mine . . . in 1986.

Very cool! Joshua Tree is a great place. I've only been there once but I loved it. And I can still remember how torn up my hands got...

Good times :D

mrtristan: Glad to hear that others enjoyed it just as much as we did! Have you been climbing other places that you would suggest to beginners? It would be fun to rock climb again!
