Looking nice. But from what i see, they more or less produced an updated version of their steep-stuff crampon that they had before the cyborg and still sell to bolt on mixed/ competition boots (forgot the name). qwert

You mean the Raptor? Ya, sorta, but not really since it is a totally new crampon in over all design, materials and finish. So mostly less.

Did read the blog, but looked at the photos. Looks like a steller crampon for drytooling. I have been using a crampon with a similar design by Cassin (sorry, forget the name of the model). The back swept tertiary points closer to the toe are really nice for the equivalent of a toe hook. The Bionics also had a nice back swept point like that, but I think it being placed a little further forward makes it more useful. It also doesn't look like the secondary points are too meaty, huge secondary points are nice for ice, but can get in the way when drytooling. Anywho, didn't see any photos on your blog where they're being used on rock, but by just looking at them, this might be where they excel.
