This year CASA joined the Knucklebasher calendar and secured the Calgary premiere of the movie "The Wildest Dream". Obsessed by a dream, torn by love, vanished into legend. It is the tale of mystery surrounding Mallory and Irvine on Everest in 1924, and the subsequent search for answers by an expedition with Conrad Anker. It stars Conrad with Leo Houlding and is narrated by Liam Neeson. There will also be a silent auction with gear donated by sponsors. I’d like to take a moment to mention sponsors. I get some great support when arranging shows and some of these sponsors donate every time, some are new, but always some great gear. In the past I’ve seen auction items going at killer deals so come see a movie, make a few bids, donate to CASA, and have a good time. As Knucklebasher gets underway there will be opportunities to demo gear, join a clinic, compete in the Mixed Master comp, or have supper, then stay to hear Barry Blanchard give a slideshow. Get a better rundown at http://www.knucklebasher.com The Wildest Dream is brought to you with the help of the Banff Mountain Film Festival, Altitude Films, National Geographical, and hosted by Mount Royal University.
