FelixSmith wrote: Hello, I am posting this with the permission of the moderators (ddt to be specific). My name is Felix Smith and I am doctoral student at Central Michigan University. My dissertation topic relates to sexual behavior. I am asking for any adult (over 18) who is willing to complete an anonymous and confidential online survey. I am investigating how common various sexual behaviors are and how they relate to a variety personality characteristics such as extroversion and openness to new experiences and legal history. One reason I am conducting this research is that currently we don’t know how common presumed unusual sexual activities are. Many assumptions are made about sexual behaviors and we need better data to evaluate those assumptions. If you complete the survey you will receive feedback regarding your personality characteristics. All data gathered is confidential and responses to items are anonymous. No tracking data is gathered. I appreciate that sex is a sensitive subject and I am taking steps to prevent linking anyone’s answers to them. The link for the study is: http://onlinepsychsurvey.com/Psychology/Default.aspx Thanks for your interest. Felix Woo! I scored 100%

There are two questions, one is about watching porn featuring simulated rape. The other is about watching porn featuring actual rape. I would not necessarily call the second one porn, but rather evidence in a criminal trial. Also, there was nothing about anal tongue darts, having sex with someone on ruffies, peeing on each other, or animal sex. But there was a couple of questions about enemas and rubbing your junk against a stranger in public. So you got those covered. I also like how you gauge risky behavior by asking if you've ever wanted to be a mountain climber.

Thanks for taking the time to complete the survey.

So, quite embarrassingly, my webhosting service died on me and the site was down for a few days. It appears to be working now after some technical mucking about. If you tried to complete it before and it didn't work and you are still interested, it should be working now. Thanks Felix

It would be a much better survey with pictures and video clips.

I didn't fill out the survey, but my favorite question was "Please check the neutral box." Ha. Fukker! I don't know if I could have done it!

Joking aside, I'd wanted to use pictures and record peoples' reaction times as this is where a lot of the research on sexual interest is going. However, I figured the legal department might have a problem with potentially showing people pornography on the internet.

It's like "If I don't check the neutral box, does that mean I like getting the Cleveland Steamer or giving chicks the ole Donkey Punch?

I think it's just checking to see if you are insubordinate or not. Yeah I didn't see anything asking about Steamers or Dutch Slave Ships.

REALLY I am glad someone out there is keeping depraved sexually explicit content off the internet.

Hello Data collection for this project has now closed. I would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate and answer questions. The first round of results is published in my dissertation (available online the Central Michigan University webpage at http://condor.cmich.edu/...coll1/id/3546/rec/1). I’m hoping to publish further results in the future. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at smith1fb(at)cmich(dot)com. Thanks again Felix Smith
