As a Chicagoland guy, and always looking for better places I thought we from Chicago area could start a little chat about some pros and cons of area gyms.
A personnally am a fan of Climb On in Homewood because it is close to me and not too expensive. The staff is awesome, looking to help but not intrusive, lets us do our thing...
The actual gym is also nice with lots of overhangings.

Well, if anyone else has other good gyms, LPAC, VE... tell us why their good.

My favorite place is Upper Limits out in Bloomington. I know it's a ways away but it is definitely worth it. The gym is four grain silos converted into circular walls.
