I was just curious if anyone near Joplin has gone to climb at Wildcat. I am finding it enjoyable and wanted to know what everyone else thought of it. Also this can be a guest book for visiting Wildcat Park. Thanks.

Hi, a friend and me have recently climbed at Wildcat. We found it to be some pretty good climbing. The rock was sharp but not too bad. I also found this page on Wildcat helpful as far as where boulders and problems were. Hopefully I will catch someone else there climbing!

I made it up to joplin the other day. I thought that it looked like a good place to climb. I did not however have the chance to do so. it was just too damn cold. I plan on moving to the joplin area in the next month or so and am looking forward to climbing there.

I have been working on some roof problems where the caves are and noticed some fresh chalk on a couple holds the other day. There's a few really good lines there under the roof sections. Has anyone been working these lately?
