I'm a teacher and am done in mid-May through the end of August. I would like to spend the summer climbing all over the western US. Can anyone else do this? I'm mostly interested in multi-pitch alpine trad routes. I lead solid 5.9 trad, some low 5.10s depending and want to try harder, and can follow harder. Interested?

Great, lets chat then! I currently live in AZ - moved there after 11 glorious years playing in the Cascade mountains in WA state - and want to get the heck out of AZ this summer and enjoy the cooler mountain climes up north. You can reach me at 206.354.8518. I've been wanting to go to the Winds and the Tetons for a long time now and it is on my list as a major stopover this summer!

Similar Story, I teach in Idaho and want to climb a bunch this summer in the West and Sierras. Pretty flexible schedule. Send me an email if you're still looking for partners. webb_peter@yahoo.com -pete

I'd also like to throw my email out there. I have a trip planned with a good friend but he might not make it due to health. We were planning on driving out from NC and climbing in RMNP, Winds, Tetons, etc. I lead 5.10+ cragging, and am confident that I can do the same in the mountains. Have done a lot of Grade III stuff including: - Mad Cow Disease, Cochise, 5.11 - Warpaint, Coshise, 5.10+ - Fine Jade, Castle Valley, 5.11a - N. Face Castleton, 5.10+ (we did those two in the same day but bailed on Castleton after P1 'cuz it was too cold) - Big stuff in NC and a ton of big towers in Thailand including a first ascent. I have free time from mid-July to mid-Sept and am open to anything. Will probably be driving from NC. Ryan.Tyler.Williams@gmail.com

Hey! A fellow Tarheel! I grew up in NC but I live in Idaho now, right at the base of the Sawtooths. If you're coming out this way we should link up and hit the City of Rocks or I can drive SE and meet up at Devil's Tower, though it sounds like you climb a little harder than I. I'm comfortable leading up to about 5.8, though I'd be willing to follow harder if you're willing to be patient. here's my email, let me know when you have an idea of when you'll be out here and if you want to link up. webb_peter@yahoo.com
