I don't appreciate you copying and pasting what I wrote on my blog. If I wanted to write it int his forum, I would have posted it instead of there. A quote here and there, fine, the whole post, Well, I don't appreciate it. Eman

What did you think would happen? Edit: Oh, you're just upset that people won't visit your blog and drive up your numbers. I see.

Maybe whoever wrote the poem on your blog doesn't appreciate you copying it without proper credit. In reply to: Climbers and their Forrums Let's face it, most climbers today actually work. Yes, some live out of their car, follow the sun, and climb perfect rock year-round, but most don't. Chance are, if you're putting in 40 hours a week, you belong to at least one climbing forum site. Whether you lurk, laugh, or laud these sites, the ones you frequent can tell others a lot about who you are. Mountainproject.com is a site that likes to think of itself as full of great information, and it is. Most of the information is fairly accurate and regular users are useful with beta. If you frequent this site, chances are you're checking out the great climbing area just about every weekend, or you're spending your work day daydreaming about climbing. Slogan "Reading Guidebooks is Better than Climbing" Supertopo.com makes Yosemite, the Sierras, and the rest of California look like the only place worth visiting. Like the beach boys who worshiped surfing, the users here worship everything California or related to California. Slogan "Free climbing is what you do when you drop your aiders." Neice.com while summer topo is out worshiping the California sun and cliffs, these dancing naked in the moonlight to bring out winter. Slogan "Rock Climbing is what you do when the ice melts." 8a.nu the holy grail of look at me and how hard I climb. Slogan "Because the world want to know how hard I climb." Rockclimbing.com the site dedicated to insulting other climbers so yu can feel better about yourself. Most people on this site have to much time on their hands and feel the need to belittle others. Post ridiculous post lead to great and lengthy debates about absolutes in climbing. For the record, Uni Jim probably isn't cowardly. He is probably just trying to respect the wishes of the author which is fine. The way Guangzhou asks for it to not be quoted makes it clear that he isn't writing his blog to bring enjoyment to the masses, he is writing it for his own personal gain. There is nothing wrong with writing a blog to attempt to make money or whatever. Just don't get upset when you spam forums trying to get hits and then someone on the forum just posts the text to make it easier for the forum members. If your blog has consistent quality content people will go there.

I find it amusing that you would write such a trashy (albeit accurate) assessment of RC.com, yet you continue to post here. More so, that you would post a link to your blog belittling said website, on that very website, and then stand amazed when people act exactly how you said they do.
