I have edited the route information of all boulders I've located in Steele Valley with GPS Coordinates; their submission is pending. I hope this will help alleviate some of the access issues members have been having. I am also in the process of mapping the boulders in Google Earth, this post will contain the document when it is ready.
If you have any GPS coordinates you would like to add let me know. I will be posting both coordinate systems for your convenience.

when you leave a lat/Long coordination references, make sure you leave them in Degree, Min and sec and not a long 5 digit number after degree

The coordinates above are in proper Decimal Degree format: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decimal_degrees

The proper way if informing people about a geographical coordination of a particular location should be thing like this;
N 13.23.129
E 47.34.108
sure I could go like this
13.23129
47.34108
without knowing the N,S,E and W you could end up in Africa vs some rock in Kansas

Why not set your GPS up to use UTMs instead of lat/long. I don't know about you, but doing complex math in the woods to figure out minutes and seconds kinda sucks. Utms are really easy, just a metric measurement from one to the other.

I like how I'm trying to help people with this information and the first post in response is a complaint about the format (which I restate is a PROPER format and is in no way ambiguous.)

this is called quality assurance and we just want to make sure that information posted on this important climbing site is accurate and without error.

The information I posted is accurate and without error. You responded as if my information was in an incorrect format when in reality it's just not in a format you're used to; copy and paste every single string I posted in Google Maps or Microsoft Bing, I guarantee they will work and you won't end up " in Africa."
