trying again, weather sucked last weekend, was full of rain for the most part. anyway, heading down that way maybe on the 25th-27th, if anyone looking for a trad or sport partner, for jackson falls or cedar bluff. maybe ferne clyffe. anywhoo, hit me up, and maybe we gets some good weather to climb in. Tis the season to get outside now!

Anyone want to climb in the Carbondale area on Saturday/Sunday (4/2 or 4/3)? Just had a partner have to cancel last minute, and don't want to miss this weekend. Was planning on breaking my trad cherry on Mike's Meander at Cedar, but can adjust if Jackson is the choice. Haven't been out this year, so not planning on much over 5.8, but will follow harder. I'm coming from Fairview Heights, IL

Were are heading down tonight camping and leaving sat night.. 3-4 with me and then a large group is carpooling from upper limits stl at 7am tomorrow morning..It looks like we're going to start on Cheerio Bowl, Stubborn Swede and another route right of Swede. From the guidebook it looks south of North Falls in an area called Hidden Peaks.

mikes meander is a great cherry buster. and then if your up for an 8+lead, just a few feet away is high flying bird. thats a great lead too at cedar bluff.

It really makes you miss Drapers once you realize how much good trad, and especially good beginner leads there were there.
