Hi! I'm looking for advice about stretching to imrpove range of motion. I've recently started climbing, and realized that after doing nothing for 7 years, my whole body is stiff as a brick. My legs are in the worst shape. Kneeling down with both legs already makes tension in them, I cant touch my ankles if sitting down legs stretched out (also, feeling tension in my calves just by stretching them out), so I'm in a really bad shape (also high body fat %, and shit endurance) My question is, should I do stretching, if yes what; or simply climbing will make me less stiff?

Climbing likely won't help your range of movement much. It might help some compared to no activity, but by itself it isn't known for promoting improvement. Try yoga if you want ROM increases.
