Climbing Poemetry? Maybe Not?

She clings with her hands.
Only a matter of time till she falls,
Just a frail twig ‘tween her life and her death,
A dizzying height, she trembles, afraid.

Last light fades away.
Bitter cold blasting a chill to her core,
Fingers of ice, grasping her lifeline,
Her hopes fade away as winds howl and rage.

Oh, Dreadful dark shadow!
Taunting her, “Will you see dawn of new day?”
Strength failing, her hands start to weaken.
Time slows; she recounts the joys of her life.

Moment of fate.
Weary and lifeless she plunges aground,
Limp and resigned, accepting her flight,
Joining the hosts which have perished before.

Unnoticed death.
She’s silently buried by winter’s bright snow,
Mother laments, her last child is gone.
But when the spring comes, a new leaf will grow.

Not.

Then again I'm not a big fan of poetry.

Clymber, clymber, burning bright
In the cliff-face of the night
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful poemetry?

He clasps the crag with crooked hands;
Close to the sun in lonely lands,
Ring'd with the azure world, he stands.

The tired second 'neath him crawls;
He watches from his mountain walls,
And like a thunderbolt he falls.

How horrible...

...the ending, I mean.

Horrible? How? :)

It's about leaves in the fall. Strangely inspired by climbing.

From death springs new life.

I wept.

A moment of silence please. Ok, that's enough.

Ther once was a man from Dulth
Who's dick got shot off in his youth
He fucked with his nose
His fingers and toes
And came through a hold in his tooth

You spelled Duluth wrong.

Sill not a fan.
