My relatives all know to give me money. Usually, they give it all to dad and when I come home for the holidays, he takes me out and buys climbing gear that i want/need (need) AW

I just bought myself a birthday present of a new rope and 5 new cams. No one that buys me gifts is into the life, so I prefer that they don't buy me equipment unless I give them photos and specs. I wouldn't turn down a set of ballznuts tho'. I think I might be getting a new rifle to play with, and maybe some stuff for my jeep. [ This Message was edited by: thumper on 2001-11-18 00:06 ]

Hey Kman! I'm with u! I really want a gift certificate to Mountain Equipment Co-Op becasue my parents have no clue what I need for climbing and its easier this way. And plus I need new shoes so I would be able to pick the pair that fits me and I like! I am also asking for a climbing wall, Hopefully that comes!

Not sure about the REI of me own, but a gift card to the store is very useful, especially if one's parents and friends aren't exactly into supporting the habit!

Sonic put it very well, and I couldnt ask for more. But I will probably have to just hope that santa is kind enough to get me onto Lizerd's list so I can get that calendar.
