I live in the SW burbs and l'm looking for someone to meet at VE occasionally to climb with.
I'm new to climbing but have been taught how to belay. I've only top roped.
I'm married w/ three kids so taking a trip may be tough but I would like to eventually get to Devils Park. Basically, I'm looking for a friend to train with. Thanks.

You could check out the MN Climbing Cooperative as well. Its a bouldering gym that is made/run by and for climbers. Less of a birthday party feel and more of a training feel.

http://www.mnclimbingcoop.com/

I've got a garage wall I train on a couple nights a week and then I go to the co-op on wednesday nights.

He's probably talking about Warreville VE, not St Paul. The co-op could be a bit of a drive for him. Laugh
