When climbing I find That when I crimp or use two finger pockets I get a pain in the middle of my wrist. Sometime it hurts so much that I can't complete the move I want to do or it throbs alot afterwards.

Any idea what it could be? or what I could do to prevent it?

strapping ideas?
exercises?
massage?
etc.....

REST. It sounds like an overuse injury to a flexor tendon. Just keep it moving though, without resistance.

I said," keep it moving though, without resistance."

NOT "through", but "though".

Anyway, just move the hand, make a fist, then spread the fingers. A few hundred reps a day, in sets of 20-50 or so, as long as that doesn't make it worse.

No resistance for now, meaning no putty or rubber bands or weights.

Is English your first language, out of curiousity?

Listen to onceahardman, he knows what he's talking about.

I hope you heal up and get back into climbing soon.
