Title -I dont mean disrespect if you have/ know someone with Parkinsons. So a little history, I've been climbing for just over a year now I recently broke into leading and boulder 2-3 times a week when I cant get outdoors. Regardless of which type of climbing I'm doing I recently acepted that I get shaky. Has anyone had this problem? And how did you overcome it? Or am I stuck with it?

If i find myself sketched/shaking I'll just try to calm myself down. Slow deep breaths usualy are all it takes, maybe also relax (straighten) your arms, and give yourself some time to plan out your next moves.

Break into Blue suede shoes and just go with it. I got the 'ol Elvis leg last weekend, did some breathing and focusing while on good holds, helped a bit, cured by the time I was at the anchors!

If you get the Elvis leg shakes(also called sewing machine legs), focus on dropping your heels lower when you stand on footholds, whenever possible. Otherwise, breathe, Whenever you get to a good hold, even if you aren't feeling particularly pumped, shake out and rest, straighten your ams, and keep taking good calm breaths, until your breathing is back to normal.
