Hi I am heading into the Jasper area to do some climbing with a friend who wants to try it. I haven't done any climbing in the Jasper area and want to know if there are any good topropping spots in the area that are good for beginner climbers? Thanks for your help

Do you know how to lead, and will you have a belayer? If so, you can lead easy routes at HCR and set up a toprope anchor. Otherwise, sam's throne is probably your best bet for toproping. You camp on top of the cliff, so its like a 2 minute walk to the cliff edge. Set up a toprope, rap in, viola, you're climbing.
