Did anyone else notice the sweet plastic stalactite holds pictured in one of the articles in the most recent issue of UCmag. I've looked all over the place online but i haven't been able to find them anywhere. Does anyone know who makes them or if they were custom made maybe?

Haven't seen the picture but send a link and I will look. www.atomikclimbingholds.com makes a stalactite hold that is great. It is called that is under there large holds. Not sure if this is the one but it is a very nice hold from a good company.

check out lapis holds US distributer: http://www.lapisholdsusa.com/

they make sweet holds, and in the store, under 'volumes', you have quite a selection of stalactites and stuff.

I don't get those things, I can't think of any routes that you would need to dangle from stalactites on. Do you like them just for the "different" factor?
