apparently there is a new gym that is about to pop up outside of DC. http://climb-va.com/
I'm going in to check them out tomorrow, looks interesting.

"Vertical Rock is scheduled to have an opening date of September 2011!"
Unless they're ahead of schedule on the construction I don't think you're going to see much.

Did you, or anyone, ever actually go to Vertical Rock? I think they're setting routes now, and I'd like to sign up at the pre-sale price (cheaper than the other gym in the area, Sportrock, and closer to me geographically), but it seems risky until I know they're going to set good routes. Anyone have an opinion here?
As for the snot, it's Northern VA, I don't know how you're going to avoid it. :)
