Can anyone tell me a little history about this old EIGER USA carabiner?

When were these in production?

Were they any good in their time?

Where were these manufactured?

Anyone? Thanks....I collect these but know little about them honestly...

I posted a thread on this web site to see if they can tell me if the 'biner I have was made in the 1960's or 70's....

Interesting stuff! I didn't know they made 'biners for Climb High at one time. I used to buy from CH back in the early 80's a lot...
