My wife and I will be in Yosemite on Aug 11 and 12 and are really wanting to climb while we are there. However, I am not an experienced lead climber and I won't have rope and draws with me. We would love someone to show us around and set up some routes on top route for us. We climb in the 5.7 to 5.10 range. Willing to offer some compensation but we can't quite afford the >$100 per person trips offered in the park. Make an offer if interested. Thanks!

locals don't take kindly to guiding without permits. might better to post a message on the campground bullitin board saying something like; "climbers looking for partners for moderate cragging." Or ask around TM store parking lot, mornings. Do not offer money! don't mention you're beginners. Offers of cold beers make quick friends.
