The mountains of Mourne is the only area that comes to mind. Have you considered going to your local gear shop and picking up a guide book?

I was 100% that it was in NI. I can think of a lot of Irish crags, just not sure where in (Northern) Ireland they are.

By all accounts the stuff in Mourne is of little importance but not been there so can´t say for sure. Fairhead is the big lump you can see from Scotland!
