A few friends and I want to climb Leonids. I was wondering if anyone knew the camping policy? we were thinking of hiking there the day before, camping overnight and climbing the next day.

ECM is located on National Forest land. There is some gray area regarding adventure passes, but you should be fine if you keep a low profile.

If you are planning on doing this route during summer, start at the crack of dawn. The rock gets full sun and can easily be 15 degrees hotter than the city below.
