Well, it could be "sand alert", but that would not sound as cute. And that title is all that is cute about the current influx, literally, of sand and other ground material over so many popular routes at Pilot. Thunderstorms are producing tiny floods that carry uncommon quantities of loose material over the rim and down the walls. Be very careful not only about slipping, but also about getting something in your eyes.
