Seems people (or botts) are creating accounts just to put their spam in the "my web page" slot. My guess is that the pics they upload will also have spam in their descriptions.

Thanks for the heads up, I saw a couple of images in the queue yesterday that looked too 'pro', standard portraits - but validated them because there was no hints at spam anywhere else, in the description or otherwise.
If people come across these users and want to help out, you can just paste their username in this thread and I'll disable them. I'll also avoid validating images that look as though they may be intended for such accounts.

You know... If I was a photo Ed, I would have just dealt with the photos immediately and these lamers wouldn't be showing up on the FP.
Unless unapproved profile pics still come up on the FP, in which case something should be done before someone thinks it would be funny to put some porno up on there.
Just saying, Sungam for photo ed. This 4 year campaign won't end any time soon.

Are they individully made or bot made? Do we have one of those things where you have to type the funny looking word to stop bots from creating accounts?

Seems a few of them did share an IP address, I've gone ahead and put a ban on that IP. They may just resort to proxies, but can deal with that when it happens.

I know there was one that looked as though it may be, but I did a search on the e-mail address and the account was genuine (facebook etc) and there were no links in the profile.
