Hi - I'm an Australian living in Japan, visiting Atlanta in a couple of weeks on business. Will have my gear with me as I'm going climbing in Red Rock later in the month - and would love to climb anything enjoyable in the Atlanta area. Will have car & gas, happy to drive for up to a couple of hours for a good day out. Am up for easy-moderate sport, or very easy trad. I'm not a strong climber, but have been doing it for a long time, so I'm safe, sane, a good belayer and play nicely with a wide variety of people.

Even if you can't join me, if you can give me pointers to a good area to hook up with local climbers, that would be great.

Thanks!

Just as a heads up, you'll probably be driving to North Carolina or Tennessee.

I don't mind a drive... T-wall sounds great and looks like 2 hours from Atlanta.

But Mt Yonah or Lost Wall would be fine too.
