I want to climb outside in eastern Connecticut. I haven't climbed in 25 years. I did free climbing in Joshua Tree, CA and other places when I was young and didn't fear getting hurt or dying. I'm 47, in reasonably good shape, don't want to get hurt, and want to climb with somebody that knows how to use ropes and anchors but is not pretentious.

Aaron, I'm available eves, weekends, & possibly during the week. I'm from the Waterbury area, but don't mind traveling. I'm 42 & have been climbing about 4 yrs. Toprope, trad, sport, ice, whatever is available. Let me know if you are interested.

Yes, I'm interested. I probably won't be able to go for a week or so. The 3 sports I do on a regular basis are hockey, bicycling and hiking. I don't own climbing shoes. I plan to start out climbing in sneakers and see how I like it before I buy equipment.
