im going to mount zoin for a climbing trip. was wondering if there is any sport climbing or top rope routes there. if not where ??

No real sport climbing in Zion. A few bolted routes but probably not what you're looking for. Saint George, which is about an hour drive from Zion, will have more of what you're looking for...
