I will be moving to the DC area this week and besides finding work i want to go climbing (weather permitting). I am still pretty new to the sport getting introduced 2 years ago but have fell in love with it and i have been shown by some very confident climbers. I take climbing and the dangerous aspect very seriously and being safe is very important. I just started lead climbing and have everything i think i will need for the DC area... a full rack, extra harness's, two pairs of shoes, crash pad and a 60 meter, basically everything you would need to tackle a multipitch trad in the Sawtooths of Idaho which was where i was before here. Im 24, male and about 145 lbs. Hope to get into the climbing scene and meet some great people.

Hey tj, welcome! I haven't been out much recently, but here's a link to a local group I've been networking with:

See you out there,
