I agree. Even the explanation "most people think girls who climb are tomboys and we wanted to show that sexy girls can climb too". I'm no UFC ring girl (I prefer to be in the fight than prancing around the ring in heels) and I've been called sexy in the context of climbing many times. Most guys who are into climbing are more turned on by a girl who climbs well, than a bikini clad fitness model being pulled up a 5.5 on a top rope.

Wow.

I've never thought of female climber's as tomboys, I thought we were chicks that were will to do what we needed to do to get out climbing! If that means peeing in the woods and not showering on a regular basis on a trip then I'm okay with that.

We don't need princesses at the crag.

My friend Lei has a pretty inspirational site and blog. She's a mountaineer who climbed the highest peaks on each continent and skied both poles. She's pretty badass!

I'm also not a fan of bikini boulderers, though they may just be a FB group.

New post on finding partners to climb with. http://thrillseekersanonymous.com/.../07/belay-me-please/

Being a female climber myself, I have realized how difficult it can be replacing a climbing partner (whether it be a breakup or moving). Hope this inspires :)

I thought there was a rule on this site about no advertising? Not to mention I think it starts to verge on spam when you post a link on multiple threads when you update your blog.

I was inspired writing the post and hoped others would find the information useful. Not advertising and not selling anything. Hope it helps with finding a climbing partner after losing one :)
