We all have our senior moments. No biggie. It's the ideas (or lack thereof) that counts when evaluating the current crop of repub candidates, in my view.

He was great for basically getting rid of Bachmann. He made her toast and she wont come back from that now.

It's too bad that Nixon can't rise up in zombie form and run for the nomination. Him standing there and chanting "brains, brains" would still be better than the entire republican party.

How long? He won't back out of his own accord... He will continue to he loses, as he still thinks he is winning, and the best person for the job. He thinks God is on "his" side, and will influence the results... Does anyone honestly think he and his supprters aren't praying to God to 'make it happen'? Since he believes that, he'll stay in it waiting for God to 'fix everything'.

He is delusional, just like Bachmann.

I get a bit of a different vibe from Perry.
To me it seems more like raw ambitional averice rather than a feeling of anointment or any need to promote an adgenda. Of course, this is a given with most politicians.

Maybe Perry is in fact just playing the God card (and playing it HARD) to get votes...which is worse than simply being delusional in my book.

Unfortunately, Perry is nothing more than the male bimbo version of Bachmann.

Of course, where Perry might stumble and not be able to come up with the right words, Bachmann will just make shit up.

I called it for Romney over a year ago, and I'll call it for him again. He's got the big money behind him, and honestly, I think that he could provide the most substantial debate with Obama right now (though that's not saying much).

The Tea Baggers will fall into line; I'm just hoping that the bible thumpers stay home because of Romney's heretical religion.

All us democrats are very lucky that Huntsman is very much a "wrong time, wrong place" candidate right now. He's, you know, rational.

Also, the Dems need to stop giving Romney a free pass on his claims related to relavent business expertise. Romney continually claims that he knows how to create jobs, but in reality his track record at Bain Capital is more weighted toward dismantling companies and putting workers out of work.

wikipedia wrote:
...The firm (Bain) includes a large group of investment professionals with consulting or operating experience, and takes an intensive, analytical approach to the investment process. This allows the firm's teams to pursue a wide range of equity investment opportunities, and to conduct extensive diligence, to do a fact-based analysis of the business and competitive industry dynamics, and to identify a winning business model. Thus, Bain Capital turns a profit on floundering corporations by buying them at low cost, stripping away any projects that aren't profiting or which have potential, and laying off any excess workers.

The emperor has no clothes and the Dems need to bring this to light.

I agree. He is by far the best choice--and thus has no chance of winning the Republican nomination.

Gingrich, meanwhile, has surged into double digits after months of stagnation in the bottom tier. He is now tied with Romney at 15 percent.

It looks like Gingrich is on course to be the next non-Romney.

Watch this one from the "anger management" candidate. "Oh, I never said that even though I'm on tape saying it!"
