My wife and I have been working on an online history project about Seneca Rocks. The site has some great old photographs, pictures of old gear, catalogs, a few interviews, and some cool old videos. Check it out and let us know what you think:

As a frequent and relatively longtime climber at Seneca, I would like to thank you for your work. Anyone who has spent time there knows that you can just feel the history and allure of the place and you captured that well. The site is fantastic and both of you should be very proud.

What a great idea, and a nice resource. I like what I've seen so far and I look forward to seeing how it develops.

Thanks guys. Something fun we found were a bunch of really dated videos created in the 80s.

Anyone ever see the show "American Adventurer"? They did a segment on Seneca and its full of spandex, dated music, and 'extreme adventure'. Its pretty great.

We also pulled some footage from the Amry's Mountain Warefare School. Its not directly related to Seneca but its pretty cool to see guys in military fatigues climbing with M-16s strapped to their back.

Just wanted to say thanks again for all the work you've clearly put in to this museum. It's really, really nice! I'm sitting here watching your videos on my roku box on the vimeo channel, and it's getting me psyched on my trip there next weekend! It's a wonderful place and it's clear that you love it too!
