As of 2012 the Georgia Dept of Natural Resources will require you to pre-purchase a pass to use the land Rocktown is located on. Check it out http://www.georgiawildlife.com/Georgia-Outdoor-Recreational-Pass $3.50 for a 3 day pass $19 for an annual pass $35 for an annual vehicle pass (probably best, up to 8 passengers per vehicle, one time fee if you're in a group) Plan ahead, I kind of tested the Purchase process and they ask for a lot of info, but it isn't any harder than buying anything else online, I'm assuming they will mail you the pass. Will update this when I do purchase mine for my spring break trip coming up. Buy these, the money goes to maintaining the land and we don't want to get a bad name by trying to avoid this. Plus you could get turned away after taking a long road trip, I know that would have sucked if I hadn't found this out...
