Well, four months of being opened all going well, at Class 5 Recreational Climbing Center. Considering that we are Indonesia's first Indoor Rock Climbing Gym, we're doing very well.

New people are trying daily, membership is growing and we're starting our outdoor trips in January. First Outdoor trip will be Celebrate New Years on the Rocks. (Jan 1st)

The cafe is also open and fully operational now, so is our wireless internet for guest and members.

After School School programs are almost full and we've hosted a dozen plus team building activities.

Importing gear is on track, wholesale operations started last months for the lines we represents. Retail sales doing well.

This time next year, we should be opening a second location in the Capital.

Website will be live later this week.

Cheers,
Eman

Class 5 Recreational Climbing Center members who are top-rope qualified are invited to spend New Years Day on the rocks. We'll meet at Class 5 January 1 at 09:00. Class five will supply ropes and guides, participants need to bring their own personal gear. Stop by Class 5 to get your name on the list. (Free to Class 5 Members)

September of last year we opened Class 5 to the public. Started with a week of free climbing to anyone who showed up. This helped us get the word out and helped me train the staff with standardized systems.

Middle of September we officially opened for business and already had people with memberships. Our climbing gym membership has been growing steady ever since.

In November we started running out outdoor program. Guide rock climbing around East Java, Middle Java, and other parts of Indonesia. We also organized climbing trips to Thailand, Malaysia, and China.

In the last year, we've also consulted on three other climbing gym projects. One of those project had us visiting Saudi Arabia to refurbish a climbing wall, train a staff on basic climbing skills, and access the possibility of a bigger wall for the resort.

We've also teamed up with ENTRE PRISES Climbing Walls here in Indonesia and the surrounding area. A couple of interesting potential projects int he works.

We designed a simple website which is currently being redone. We also started an electronic newsletter. If you want to subscribe, go here: http://us2.campaign-archive2.com/...8dade&e=[UNIQID]

We've develop several programs here. From teaching schools to properly and safely use their walls, to organizing first ascent climbing trips in Indonesia, we're growing. Planning on a second location next year.

We also prive service to other gym in South East Asia. We can help with any aspect of operation. Climbing, management training, route setting, software implementation, membership tracking and much more. We also provide trained personnel to new and existing operations.

Next month we are launching our Indonesia Anchor Replacement initiative here. We're have three climbing areas on the list for this year that need anchors replaced, roughly 500 routes. Next year, we may create a non-profit to work on this issue, but for now, a few of us, and Class 5 are going to pay for the hardware.

We're also organizing "Indonesia First Ascent" programs now. On these trips, we teach climbers all the skills they need to safely put up first ascent. During the 7 to 15 days trip, climber will choose and establish new route(s) Depending on what they have in mind, we can arrange anything from single pitch sport routes to grade V big wall.
