i use to climb a lot when i was younger but i stopped for like a year, i have since picked it up again and have fallen in love with the sport. i dont like rental harnesses because thay are very uncomfortable so my first question is which harrnesses are good. m second question is what type of shoes should i be looking for? thanks[:)

Personally I would say for the harness, just make sure that the leg loops are adjustable, as for which 1 is good, too many to list. Shoes I would say lace up shoes for now.

Why do these threads show up almost weekly? Does no one search for themselves anymore? OP - comfort is key.

Seriously, as another poster noted, there are multiple FAQs on this along with thousands of threads on both topics. Exercise the search function, read the link provided, and do some work on your own before peppering the forums with the same basic questions yet again.
