A friend of mine and I are planning a trip to RRG in April. We are both under 18. What problems might we encounter and where might be a good place to stay. Ive heard there is a youth hostel there, but i cant find any information about it. Thanks.

Camp in the backcountry. 5 dollars per car for three nights of camping. Get your permit from the Shell station right off the Mountain Parkway. Or Miguel's. But who wants to wake up to the sounds of hungover climbers instead of birds and quiet? Lago Linda is also pretty chill and real close to Muir Valley. If you plan on climbing at Muir a lot, Linda's is the way to go.
