I am looking into this rope (60M dry) and i really like it. It seems like a very nice rope and is not to expensive. All of the reviews that ive scene online are positive and say that it is a great rope. I was wondering if its really not all that, or if there are any other ropes that are better.

I've used that rope (tho a 70m) for 2 years now and its been great for me. Pretty supple right away and dries fairly quickly after a day on ice too. Not too fuzzy at all after being used only a few days a month.

Are you sure you're talking about the same rope here??? The marathon series is just about the stiffest rope available on the market today.
It;s absolutely bomber, one of the beefiest ropes out there, but too stiff and heavy for my personal tastes as a sport rope.

Not stiff at all and never goes get too stiff or limp. I'm on my second.

Not stiff at all and never goes get too stiff or limp. I'm on my second.
I don't think they're to bad either, but they are stiffer than my Beal or Bluewater ropes by comparison. They wear like iron though. Mine has had a lot of use and it's still has plenty of life left in it.

I think you'll be perfectly happy with a Marathon in this case. It's an excellent rope. I'm confused about those who said it's too stiff. I found mine to have one of the best hands of any rope I've used.
