Howdy,

Am posting as I just returned from 7 days great days in Red Rocks, if you can get there, GO!! . Flew from Toronto-->Newark-->Vegas, Vegas-->Clevland-->Toronto. I had been worried about packing my cams in my checked back pack for fear of'em getting mangled or stolen.

I had searched the forums prior to my trip to find out if anyone had ever brought their cams as carry on. Didn't find anything, so I called TSA, its ain't easy to get them on the phone but managed to hear from a few TSA officers, and...

You can bring cams on planes. Spoke with TSA officer and flew with mine. I carried my Nuts on too, but checked my hexes (am used to chossy limestone so i love passive pro) because I figured they'd be safe, cant really mangle one of'em.

Anyways, thought I'd shared so that others needn't endure the lengthy frustration of trying to call individual TSA Airport Officers.

Happy Safe Climbing
