I'm pretty new to climbing (3 years of experience, most of which was in the Dolomites of Italy). I just moved to the far west valley of Phoenix (Verrado) and am totally surprised that I can't find any sport routes out here since there's rock everywhere.
I got spoiled in Italy when I lived right at the base of the mountains so I don't want to drive all the way to the opposite end of the city if possible. I live right next to the white tanks but apparently those routes are closed now??
If you know of any sport routes in the white tanks or near buckeye that are 5.7 or below (still new to lead climbing) please let me know.
