Rc.com joins the protest by having a "no intelligent post day".

Out of curiosity, why would you care if you are not a US national?

I'm protesting and upping my post count in one fell swoop.

Because it impacts non-nationals? For instance, sites hosted outside of the US but registered with .com, .org TLDs will be impacted? And mucking about with DNS will impact people outside of the US.

Because the US government will pressure other governments to follow suit? See this example from Spain, or similar pressure on Canada.

Not having visited Uzbekistan, I could not be sure if there was a region that shares a name with the Australian island.

Looks like the grand fucking canyon, though it good also be a nameless canyon in Uzbekistan for all I know. As I understand it, you must've had to wait a lifetime for the permit to float down the canyon, no?

Didn't Arizona promise to secede or were y'all just toying with our emotions?

That was Texas--still waiting for them to follow through.

That's right, it was southern AZ. I'll need to update my passport to travel there in two weeks. Hopefully I won't wander the desert again.

Because most Americans are dumb enough to not understand sarcasm or how to read a map, let alone how the internet transcends borders?

If youtube, or google, or wikipedia goes down, EVERYBODY, not just Americans, lose that resource.

This doesn't stop piracy anymore than closing libraries does.
