I'm from Pittsburgh. My girlfriend and I try to go down to Coopers Rock to boulder every week, when the weather's nice and it's warm out. You can email me at noahfor123 (at) hotmail.com if you're interested in coming along. Or, we could go somewhere else.

Have you been to The Climbing Wall in Pittsburgh? That's where we usually climb.

Where is coopers rock? I`ve been thinkn about going to the climbing wall as its like 5 miles from my work but havn`t made it there yet. As long as its dry cold rock doesn`t bother me but I would like to try the gym once at least.

It's near Morgantown WV. It's about 1.5 hours from Pittsburgh. It's pretty extensive. There are many more boulder problems there than McConnels mill, but it's only any good for bouldering, as far as I know. I assume that's what you're interested in, since this is in the bouldering section.

Cool. I was on vacation, so I haven't been there for a couple weeks. But, I normally go 3-4 times a week.

There's some good top ropes too. Jimmy Cliffs and Roadside... There used to be a sport climb called Haystack but it's started migrating down hill so... the lower bolts have been removed. Unsure

i lurk on this forum periodically, lol, but i am a 22 year old who climbs at The Climbing Wall 3-4 times a week (usually 3 since I have work on the weekends). I finish up my classes in about a week and then will be looking to just improve and get outdoors and climb, climb, climb.

Also, just finally paid the 5 bucks and took the belay test, so if anyone wants to arrange a time to top rope at TCW, hit me up at cuomo7000@yahoo.com

Haha I need to find back up incase ur dogs get hostile again...

I ur at the climbing wall that often uve possibly already met Noah or myself, or weve crossed paths just havnt introduced yet. I don't play with ropes but Noah's turning to the dark side haha, my membership is up today or tomorrow and I havnt decided what I'm going to do about that yet...

Noah I found $5 per head camping by coopers...but it's 20 miles away so idk if that justifies the savings
