Hey guys I am looking for reviews and info on this boot https://www.mountainmailorder.co.za/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=1869 Has anybody used this boot for summer alpine climbing? I really can't find any information on these boots. I live in South Africa and it's the only one in its category available here. Hope you can help thanks

What kind of terrain are you expecting to encounter? They are probably not going to handle steep ice very well because of the sole. It does not look like there is a proper shank, so the sole will be a bit too flexible for a lot of front-pointing. If you are going to be doing more "classical" mountaineering, you should be OK. Snow, glacier travel, 4th class and low fifth class rock should be fine.
