I recently picked up a couple C3's off an MP seller, I looked online and followed some basic cleaning instructions. Warm soapy water, toothbrush, alcohol on cue-tips and WD-40.
Both cams needed a little cleaning and are fully functional now, however one of them still feels like there is some grit between the lobes. It's not enough to hinder motion but you can just tell it's a bit gritty.
Any advice to further clean it out? I thought about maybe compressed air, (not electronics cleaner can but a real compressor etc).

Try a small pot of hot water, dunking the head in and working the trigger to try to remove the grit.
Once cleaned out, dry them thoroughly and lube them up with cam lube (bike chain lube).

yea that's basically what i did, though have not re-lubed yet since i wanted to get them clean fully first.
Even with the boiling water / wd 40 seems i am not getting as deep as i need to.
I'll grab some cam lube today either way.

Folded tinfoil can get into a lot of places, helping you to clean them.

Hot soapy water.
Work it a lot.
If its still dirty then use compressed air.
Don't use WD40 and if you did get it out and lube with a wax based lube.
All oil based lubes are dirt magnets
