...of Republicans. I'm for it.
The Ticket wrote: More than half of Mississippi GOP voters say Obama is a Muslim, new poll suggests By Chris Moody | The Ticket More than half of likely Republican voters in Mississippi say they think President Barack Obama is a Muslim, according to a survey conducted by Public Policy Polling, a Democratic polling firm. Fifty-two percent said that Obama practiced Islam, while just 12 percent said he was a Christian. Thirty-six percent said they were not sure. Obama, whose father and stepfather both came from Muslim backgrounds, is a practicing Christian and was a member of Trinity United Church in Chicago before he was president. The poll, conducted by telephone of 656 likely Republican voters in Mississippi on March 10 and 11, has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.8 percentage points. In Alabama, the same poll found that 45 percent of likely Republican voters believed Obama to be a Muslim and 14 percent said they considered him a Christian... Curt

Thing is, you can't sterilize an idea, and there's nothing more contagious.

If they're not, it would be pretty obvious that they want our resources and only seek to weaken mankind's strangle hold on this earth. In the case of the 1st scenario, it would serve to establish a base level of respect with our new interstellar friends, as we have proven ourselves a planet not to be trifled with. In the 2nd scenario, fore-warned is fore-armed, plus we got to blow stuff up. There's really no foreseeable downside to Gecko's idea.

*shiver* Sigourney Weaver shiver/* I misunderstood your post about the aliens, but now I see that you meant watch out for the aliens (so that they don't get caught in the way of teh bombs). Not to change the subject from aliens, but what's the feeling in the US and what's your perception on the recent Irak shooting? edit because I don't know how to spell.

So, a poll further confirms that >50% of Southern GOPs are stupid... And this is suprising, how? Unfortunately, stupid people, especially the southern ones, reproduce at a much faster rate than do those who are a bit more enlightened. Irony being, they tend to be the one's with their hands out to the government for welfare and the like, yet they are against others (Illegal Imigrants Mexicans) doing it, just not them. "In a world of unbounded resources, lack of competition would not have slowed the evolution of the smartest creatures, but it would have made a lot more dumb ones." ~Leonard Susskind
