Hey I was up at Minister Creek this weekend... There's some stuff there that looks interesting. Are you still close to ANF? Weekend trip?

Mountainman, Rumor has it you would like to get outside this week! Drop me a message with when your available and we can try to hook up! If his shoes get back we could have a third! If not I believe we are still climbing inside Tuesday at the The CW!

You missed a great day at Locust Grove! Six of us made the trip! Great weather, great climbs, and good people. Made it up the 5.10c sport line on the top slab for the first time and had a great trad lead as well. You should have hooked up with us.

Bill, Ken, Ray, Peter, Bob and I. You going with us Sunday? Seems the choices are Coopers area, or Robs Knobs! Edit spelling.

That gets my vote as well. We are still waiting for the vote to be tallied to find out which location is the winner. Coopers has three areas within ten minutes and if one is wet the others may still be dry whereas if robs is wet and dank you have hiked two miles uphill for nothing. That's just my opinion and as the newest member to the group i don't may much sway! I'll keep you posted with when and where by |

Friday, four of us made a day trip to Bubba City and had a glorious day at Kingfish and Sandstonia. I even led a climb. So it was a milestone in my recovery...

A magnificent day of climbing!!! 6 of us went to Cumberland and my friend Chris joined us there. I'm getting stronger. The last climb was the best, but they all were stellar. It never rained until we were back in the cars. Truly beautiful weather...

The Narrows or Locust Grove? I'm from Indiana PA, and I would love to hook up with someone to climb those areas!

Locust Grove. An old favorite. I've climbed the Narrows, but I'm not a fan. We only get down there once or twice a year. It's about as close to go to the New River Gorge.

The Narrow is chossy and ledgey, and very overgrown. My friends were developing it years back but lost interest. Locust Grove is a real gem, but hard on the toes. A lot of standing on tiny nubbins. Yes, we are in the Pittsburgh area.
